KATRINA LEE, APRN, FNP-C

Board Certified Family Nurse Pracitioner

Katrina Lee, APRN, FNP-C is a family nurse practitioner certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She has been involved in various facets of the healthcare industry for 18 years. Prior to studying nursing, she was a licensed and practicing medical doctor in the Philippines where she worked as a primary care and emergency room physician up until her migration to the US in 2008.
Her wide-ranging healthcare experience includes several years of work in Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD where she served as a Neurodiagnostic Technician and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Technician which further enhanced her diverse knowledge in the healthcare field.
However, the pull of individualized primary care service could not escape her. Thus, it led her back to studying nursing and eventually a master’s degree in nursing specializing in family nurse practice from the Chamberlain College of Nursing in Downer’s Grove, IL.
She values one on one patient care and believes that patient care involves something far greater than addressing what hurts or what’s not right. She stresses that addressing the overall health and well being of the patient is as important as tackling acute problems and concerns. As cliché as it may sound, Katrina believes in the old adage that, “An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.”
